FLUKE
Watershed Wonders and The Journey of Fluke documents the journey of Captain Marcus Eriksen PhD on his recycled raft. In conjuncture with Algalita Marine Research Foundation Eriksen sailed 300 miles down the California coast. The mission included raising awareness about synthetic debris and the importance of wetlands in the fight against pollution. Plastics travel from our streets through our storm drains and ultimately reach the ocean damaging the marine eco-system.
